OMG, I am a little nervous because its my first blog entry in English. Sorry for mistakes!
Even though it was my very first ice cream workshop in English; also in special conditions! I was invited to celebrate with lively and sweet little youngsters in the age of 5 to 6 to an international kindergarten. It was fun! A lot of fun! Together with the helpful and friendly educators we prepared a cooking table in the middle of the kindergartens classroom for 12 kids. As they find out we gonna make ice cream they were sooo happy and listened to every word we said and explained. The kids tried the different ingredients, weighed them, mixed them all together, cooked them to an ice cream base and cooled it down before we put it in the ice cream machine. It made a lot of fun watching the colorful ice cream base getting cooler and thicker and even changing the color in the process.
After a lunch break the kids tasted their own ice cream. Everyone had another favorite out of our glutenfree Oreo Ice Cream, the strawberry mint sorbet and the lemon basil Sorbet.
There is still some homemade ice cream in the freezer. So the kids and the other groups are all invited to finish it in the next days 😊
